WSET Level 3 - Extended Courses - Spring 2011

WSET_Certified logo copy.jpg The Advanced Certificate is designed for those who have already taken the WSET Level 2 Intermediate level course and seek a deeper understanding of the world of wine.

This course delves further into wine making and viticulture, wine labeling laws, appellation systems, major wine producing regions and the regional expressions of grape varieties around the world.

During each class, up to 6 wines are tasted in order to demonstrate the principles covered in theory including the variation in styles of wines attributable to grape variety, region, climate, soil and the wine making techniques.

32 hours seminar time:

Tuesdays: 7.00pm – 9.00pm

1st, 8th, 22nd, 29th, March,
6th, 12, 19th, 26th April,
3rd, 11th, 24th, 31st May,
7th June

The price includes all materials, wines, exam fee HKD 12,995 (HKD 11,995 for WSET Level 2 students of The Fine Wine Center).

This class will be led by JC Viens, who is a Certified Tutor of the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and a holder of the WSET Diploma (Merit). He is now studying to become Master of Wine.
