"How To Taste Like A Pro, A Discovery" @ The Fine Wine Center - 24 feb

iconCome and join me for a wine tasting workshop specifically designed to help you understand and identify the core structural components of wine and how this relates to balance, one of the key elements of quality.

Designed for those who have little or no knowledge of wine tasting, this two hour session will introduce students to wine tasting concepts and techniques (using the WSET Diploma systematic approach ), understanding the origin of taste (the influence of terroir, wine making and maturation) and defining quality (complexity, harmony, length).

This session will look at grape components, wine making and how they affect quality. Techniques will be used to demonstrate how to evaluate each wine tasted accordingly. The tasting will consist of 3 white wines and 3 red wines to demonstrate how each component of a wine interact with each other.

This is an excellent class that will provide the critical skills for you to understand the how to taste and asses the quality of wines.

Completion of this workshop will result in the attainment of a certificate of recognition.
