Super 1995 Horizontal Tasting - 1855 Classification @ the Fine Wine Reserve

This is a very special and unique 1995 horizontal tasting for Bordeaux wine lovers designed to help them become master of the 1855 Classification...

Participants will be led through a tasting of five wines (one from each Classified Growth) and conclude with a Sauternes to identify the elements that contribute to each wine’s uniqueness and to understand variations in style, terroir and vintages.

Fantastic wines will be tasted:

1995 Ch. Mouton-Rothschild, 1er Cru, Pauillac
1995 Rauzan-Segla, 2ème Cru, Margaux
1995 Ch. Giscours, 3ème Cru, Margaux
1995 Ch. Talbot, 4ème Cru, St. Julien
1995 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, 5ème Cru, Pauillac
2005 Ch. Suduiraut, 1er Cru, Sauternes

This tasting is suited to those who have some basic wine knowledge and tasting skills. All participants will receive a certificate of recognition upon completion.

Tasting to be led by Mr. Jean-Charles Viens, who is an Accredited Tutor of the Bordeaux Wine School and has recently completed his WSET Level 4 Diploma, seen as the essential stepping stone to becoming a Master of Wine.
